Inmate dies at Regina Correctional Centre

An inmate at the Regina Correctional Centre died on Wednesday morning.

The man was found unresponsive in his cell and pronounced dead around 9 a.m. CST. His identity has not been revealed.

Police and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Justice are investigating.

The death has been referred to the provincial coroner's office for review.

The cause of death has not yet been released.
