On the Ledge: Nicole Sarauer carries the millennial torch in the legislature

Nicole Sarauer has accomplished a lot by the age of 32. She practiced law, sat on a school board, waselected as a MLA and became the first woman to lead the Saskatchewan NDP.

She talkedabout her career as a pro bono lawyer and how she hopes to set an example for young women looking at a future in politics.

"Get involved in your community. Find things that you're passionate about. You need somethingthat's going to spark that fire within you," Sarauer said.

She discussed her taste in music and why she finds the lawyer driven TV dramaSuits unrealistic.

"I have such a hate on for Suits and how fake it is it makes me so angry."

Sarauer also talked about being a millennial in the assembly, which includes introducing new words like "mansplain" into the record.
