Missing man, 76, was going ice-fishing

RCMP from Assiniboia are looking for John Rustad, 76, from Bengough, Sask. Rustad was last heard from on Saturday when he told family he was going ice-fishing just outside Assiniboia.

RCMP from Assiniboia are looking for a 76-year-old man now considered missing. John Rustad, from Bengough, Sask., was last heard from on Saturday when he told family he was going ice-fishing.

RCMP said he told family that he was heading for a place known as Willows Dam, about 10 kilometres east of Assiniboia.

He has not been seen or heard fromsince.

Rustad is 5'6" tall and weighs180 lbs. He wears glasses, has brown eyes and short grey hair. RCMP said it is likely he took his dog, a smaller breed, with him. He is believed to be driving his black and red 1991 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck which has a Saskatchewan plate: 759 ERY.
