Last Riders game at Mosaic features music, fireworks, light show

The last game at Mosaic Stadium will be a celebration even if the Riders are out of the playoffs.

Mosaic Stadium's swansong will not only be the roar of the crowd there will also be live music, fireworks and a light show.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders will host the B.C. Lions on Saturday, Oct. 29. It will be the last game at Taylor Field before the club moves into thenew Mosaic Stadium a few blocks west in EvrazPlace.

The half-time show will feature performances by Jess Moskaluke, Jason Plumb and the Jack Semple Band.

Playersof Roughrider teams past, some of the all-time greats,will also be in attendance.

The organization promises a night "like no other," which will feature pyrotechnics and a light extravaganza.

Fans are encouraged to show up early, as gates for the GoodLifeFan Fest open at 2 p.m. CST.

Gates to the stadium for seating will open at 3:30 p.m. and kickoff is at 5 p.m.

The last game at Mosaic Stadium has sold 95 per cent of tickets already.
