K+S strikes deal to sell potash to Koch

K+S, which is building a huge potash mine northwest of Regina,has a new deal to sell its productto KochFertilizer.

Koch announced Tuesday ithas exclusive rights to a supply of around 450,000tonnesof granular potash, a mineralused as fertilizer for corn and other crops.

K+S says the Legacy mine site located northwest of Regina is worth $4.1 billion.

It expects to reach a capacity of two million tonnes of potash per year by the end of 2017.
