A downtown Regina shopping mall was the venue for what was described as flash-mob style of protest, part of the 'Idle No More' that seeks to raise awareness of issues relating to First Nations and federal legislation on the environment.

A downtown Regina shopping mall was the venue for what was described as flash-mob style of protest, part of the 'Idle No More' that seeks to raise awareness of issues relating to First Nations and federal legislation on the environment.

A group of First Nations dancers performed a quick Round Dance at the Cornwall Centre Monday evening.

The Idle No More campaign aims to bring attention to First Nations concerns about Bill C-45, a piece of legislation that includes changes to laws on the environment.

First Nations groups are upset the legislative changes were made without consultation and could dramatically affect how waterways are protected.
