Come on down: CBC's Comfort & Joy Regina open house is on now!

CBC Saskatchewan is teaming up with the Food Banks of Saskatchewan to help feed hungry families this holiday season and the big Dec. 11 event is now live!

That's the 15th annual CBC/Radio-Canada Comfort & Joy campaign, whichwill take place over one day only today!

You can make a contributionby clicking on donate or by calling 1-800-567-8008 on Dec.11.

The public is invited to visitCBC in Regina (2440 Broad St.)for an all-day open house, behind-the-scenes tours of our radio and TV studios, live local programming, exclusive prizes, free coffee, hot chocolate and treats, kids activities and live entertainment throughout the day. (Similar events are planned for Saskatoon in the morning).

Here are the details:

Sheila Coles and the Morning Edition team will be doing the show livefrom the CBC Galleria in Regina from 6-8:30a.m. CST.

Garth Materie, theBlue Skyteamand the Afternoon Edition teamwill be livein theGalleria from 12-1 p.m. and 4-6p.m.

Live holiday music with Americana artist Eli Barsi and Ben Sures.

The first 100 people through the door get a freelimited edition CBC tree ornament.

Freehot coffee,tea,hot chocolate and treats from Naked Bean Coffee House.

Visit us on site during The Morning Edition and enter to win the CBC New Year's Eve Getaway for Two at the Hotel Saskatchewanthat includes, wine, dinner and breakfast (but you have to enter in person at the Open House to qualify).

Bring the kids for a meet and greet and story time with CBC Saskatchewan meteorologist Christy Climenhaga. Get hugs from CBC kids mascot Bookaboo and fun holiday crafts and activities.
