Coroner's report released on death of Regina boy Haven Dubois

More than seven months after the death of Haven Dubois in Regina, the Chief Coroner's Office has released the results of the investigation into his death.

The 14-year-old boy died in May 2015. His body was pulled from a creek near his home in east Regina.

The coroner's report ruled the death was accidental, stating the cause was drowning with marijuana use as a contributing factor.

The family and friends of Dubois have been waiting for the report. Four months after his death, they held a walk to remember him.
