5 more Future 40 winners revealed

CBC Saskatchewan has selected five more winnersfrom its Future 40 competition.

Here are the previous five.

And now, without any further ado, here are our latest five winners:

Shahzadi Sayyid
Currently, Shahzadi is the Co-President for Enactus Regina and works with more than 50 active members to run sustainable projects that make an environmental, social, and economic impact in the community for local and international students, as well as retired military war veterans. She has worked in assisting military personnel starttheir business-related ventures.

Warren Isbister-Bear
From the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation in north central Saskatchewan, he is aware of the many challenges and opportunities presented by the many cultures in Saskatchewan. Warren demontrates quiet strength andis a leader as a result of his work ethic and character.

During the Walking with Our Sisters ceremonial art exhibit in Saskatoon, Warren lent his time to keep the sacred fire lit through a special ceremony and continually fed by men and twospirit fire keepers.

Nathan Elliott
Through his company, Insight Interactive, Nathan works with some of the biggest corporations in the transportation, automotive, oil and gas, health, environmental and investment sectors today.

Nathan's philanthropic commitments have affected greatchange in the province. A simple text message from his friend Geroy Simon, Lets do a coat drive for kids, set in motiona provincial movement. In just 17 months, the Huddle Up Foundation he started has fitted tens of thousands of kids with winter coats, and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Candy Fox
Her most recent documentary work, Backroads, is a powerful testimonial of her partner's experience survivingfamily and sexual abuse. The Toronto International Film Festival recognized Backroads as one of Canadas Top Ten Student Films. The film also received the Best Documentary, the Audience Choice, and the Best of Saskatchewan awards at the Living Skies Student Film Festival.

Danny Fernandez (akaDef3)
He has gained great famethrough his highly active touring schedule in over1000 interntional shows and festivals such as SXSW, Shambhala, Juno Fest, Pop Montreal, NXNE, CMW, Breakout West, and Prairie Scene. Def3 headlined the Saskatchewan pavilion at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. By special invitation he performed at private galas for the Governor General of Canada,Michalle Jean, during her Saskatchewan visits.
