18 computers stolen from village school

Thieves have taken $30,000 worth of computers from a central Saskatchewan village school.

Thieves have taken $30,000 worth of computers out of a central Saskatchewan village school.

The theft happened at the Three Lakes School in Middle Lake on the weekend of Aug. 27, just before the school year began, the RCMP said Wednesday.

Stolen were 18 new Apple iMac computers. No one has been charged.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Humboldt RCMP at (306) 682-6403 or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Middle Lake is a village of about 300 people located about 45 kilometres north of Humboldt.
