The Parti-Qubcoiswants to prevent francophone and allophone studentsfrom attending English CEGEPs.

It's part of a commitment to table a new, more restrictive, Charter of the French Language in the first 100 days of a new PQ government.

But it could be a risky move.

The PQ's star candidate, Lo Bureau-Blouin, admits in a letter to Le Devoir todayhe was unable to convince the CEGEPstudent federation to support the PQ resolution when he was the federation's president.

Access to CEGEPs was a hot topic today on the Radio Noon candidates debate.

Thierry St-Cyr of the PQ said people were predicting an apocalypsewhen the original Bill 101 was introduced.

CAQ's Dominique Anglade saidthe billwas trying to solve a problem which doesn't exist.

Here's a fiery exchange, which also includes Yolande James of the Liberals.
