#ThrowbackThursday: A look at last year's record-breaking snowfall

There may be green patches showing through the ice today, but this time last year, P.E.I. was covered really covered in snow.

A whopping 86.6 centimetres hit the Island this time last year

Cathy Lowe's family used the baby to measure the snowfall. 'Thankfully we didn't have to use her to measure [snow] this year,' she wrote. (Submitted by Cathy Lowe)

This time last year, a storm that dropped a whopping 86.6 centimetres of snow on the Island, bringingFebruary's snowfall up to a total of 197.4 centimetres in Charlottetown.
