Seafood Expo North America to showcase Atlantic Canada products

More than two dozen groups from Atlantic Canada will be in Boston today for Seafood Expo North America.

Atlantic Canadian representatives will be showcasing the region's seafood products to over 20,000buyers from more than 100 countries.

Last year, the U.S. imported more than $2.78 billion in seafood products from Atlantic Canada, an increase of $594 million over the previous year.

The event the largest seafood expo on the continent begins today and runs until Tuesday.
