Parts of downtown Charlottetown are closed to traffic Saturday as the city celebrates the 3rd annual Victorian Christmas Weekend.

Queen Street between Grafton Street and Richmond Street, and Richmond Street between Pownal Street and Great George Street will be closed until early Sunday morning, the city says.

The event features free horse and wagon rides, roaming Christmas carolers, Christmas movies at City Cinema, a warm-up station at the Confederation Centre of the Arts & Confederation Court Mall, a Christmas tree garden, live outdoor music and market vendors.
