Here are the candidates running in Egmont

Running from Seacow Pond, down to West Point, Lennox Island all the way through to the eastern edge of Summerside, Egmont is Prince Edward Island's western riding.

Of the 4 ridings on P.E.I., this is the only one that has changed hands in recent years

Running from Seacow Pond, down to West Point, Lennox Island all the way through to the eastern edge of Summerside, Egmont is Prince Edward Island's western riding.

Of the four ridings on P.E.I., this is the only one that has changed hands in recent years from the Liberals to the Conservatives and back to the Liberals once more.

Four candidates are running in this riding and they'relistedalphabetically byfirst name.

Alex Clark, Green Party

Alex Clark is a young entrepreneur born and raised in Linkletterand this is his first time running in an election. He's the owner of Evermoore Brewing Company and Open Eats the latter he recently decided will be closing up shop.

Clark is involved in two tourism associations, Explore Summerside and North Cape Coastal Drive.

Bobby Morrissey, Liberal Party

Morrissey is the former president of the Tignish Seniors Home Care Co-op and was vice-chair of Tignish Special Needs Housing. (Bobby Morrissey/Facebook)

Robert (Bobby)Morrissey is the incumbent MP in Egmont, defeating former Conservative Minister of Fisheries and Oceans Gail Shea in 2015. Prior to the last election, Morrissey was an MLA from 1982-2000 and spenthis years between politics in the private sector.

He's the former president of theTignish Seniors Home Care Co-op and was vice-chair of Tignish Special Needs Housing.

Logan McLellan, Conservative Party

Logan McLellan was born and raised in Summerside and this is his first time running in an election. McLellan has been working as afinancial advisor andentrepreneur, with a focus on pension management.

Sharon Dunn, NDP

Sharon Dunn of O'Leary has been involved in political campaigns before, but this is her first time running as a candidate. (Submitted by the NDP)

Sharon Dunn of O'Leary is a former executive administrative assistant with Montgomery Elevator, operateda bookkeeping businesses and was an office and property manager for a seniors' complex.

She's been involved in political campaigns before, but this is her first time running as a candidate. She's volunteered with VictimServices and is presently active with Keeping Cats Homed.
