Construction and heavy equipment onsite is expected to cause disruptions to users at Bonshaw Provincial Park and adjoining trails over the next six weeks.

The disruptions involve the construction of playground facilities and a wheelchair accessible walking path that will connect the Bonshaw bridge pedestrian underpass with the day park and trail system.

Other work involves a new and improved parking area at the day park and a natural-play playground, according to the provincial government.

The use of alternate parking locations for the trail system is encouraged while construction is underway.
