A campaign called #MobileMuslims has rolled on to Prince Edward Island as part of a coast-to-coast tour.

The group members set up what looks like a food truck in prominentlocations and provide information about the teachings of Islam.

The goal is also to remove misconceptions about the religion, according toJames Sinclair,a spokesperson and a missionary in training with Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'.

40 day tour

"It looks similar to like a food stall but when it opens up you can see that the only food that you're going to get from here is knowledge," saidSinclair."There are books and flyers, educated people who will answer any questions that you have about Islam. You cannot offend us and it's our job to answer questions that are on your mind."

"Anybody that does things like what happened in France, things like what happened in Orlando, those people are not representatives of Islam. Those people are actually dragging the name of Islam through the dirt and not following the true teachings of Islam.

The 40 day tour, which began on July 13 in St.John's, includes stops in 25 towns and cities across Canada. That includes Montague and Charlottetown.

It will wrap up in Vancouver.
