Youll see them on your television screens before they hit the TD Place field, but the Ottawa Redblacks will make their CFL home debut July 18.

After taking Week 1 of the regular season off on a bye, the ninth and newest CFL team will play its first ever regular season game at Winnipegs Investors Group Field on July 3, with kickoff at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The Redblacks then play another road game at the Edmonton Eskimos the following Friday, July 11, before making their debut at the new Lansdowne Park field at 7 p.m. July 18 against the Toronto Argonauts.

The announcement came as the CFL released its full 2014 regular season schedule on Wednesday.

Other notable dates include their first meeting with the Calgary Stampeders, the team they plucked their head coach, offensive coordinator and quarterback Kevin Glenn from, in Calgary on Saturday, Aug. 9.

Theyll also face quarterback Henry Burris most recent former team, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, to open that citys new stadium on July 26.

The Redblacks host the Saskatchewan Roughriders during the August long weekend, bringing them into TD Place at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2.

Theyll be in Montreal Labour Day weekend, in Vancouver to face the B.C. Lions over Thanksgiving weekend and play their last of nine regular season home games against Hamilton on Halloween.

Busy week continues

The team announced Monday their first-ever exhibition game will be a home game against Saskatchewan June 14, happening at Mosaic Stadium in Regina but allowing the Redblacks to use the home bench, enter from their own inflatable helmet and more.

The former Frank Clair Stadium will be renamed TD Place, Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group announced in January. (OSEG)

It was announced Wednesday their second and final preseason game will be at the Montreal Alouettes Friday, June 20.

Season ticket packages are on sale, with information on single-game tickets coming at a later date, according to the teams news release.

The week has been full so far for Ottawa, which announced its first-ever trade had brought in defensive lineman and Ottawa native Justin Phillips from Calgary, along with a third-round draft pick in 2014, in exchange for third-round picks in 2014 and 2015.

The Redblacks will hold their training camp at Carleton University at the beginning of June.
