49-year-old man ID'd as victim in south Ottawa homicide

Ottawa police areinvestigating the city's 12th homicide of the yearafter a man was found dead Saturday morning in the city's south end.

Police said a man's bodywas discoveredat around 3:40 a.m. nearRussell Road and Southvale Crescent.

He was identified Sunday as 49-year-oldOpinyP'Ochiengof Ottawa.

Russell Road between Southvale Crescent and Tupper Avenue wasclosed while police investigated.
