Ottawa man ID'd as victim in Kingston homicide

Police in Kingston, Ont., areinvestigating the killing of an Ottawa man over the weekend.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Sydenham Road and Highway 401 around 7:15 p.m. Saturday, Kingston police wrote in a release.

They found one mandead at the scene. Another man was taken to Kingston General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

On Monday, police identified the man who had died as 20-year-old Carl-Alen Delphin of Ottawa.

The second man, a29-year-old from the Ottawa area,was still in the intensive care unit Monday, police said. His name was not released.

Kingston police saidthe incident may be related to a shooting around 8:20 p.m.Friday onTheresa Crescent, in another part of the city.
