On Sunday morning a man in his 30s died after his pickup truck slid off Highway 105 just outside of Chelsea. Gatineau police said he was ejected from his truck and later pronounced dead at hospital.

Gatineau police said the woman was driving down Klock Road in Alymer when she lost control of her car and crashed.

In Ottawa, two pedestrians are also in hospital in critical condition after a noon-hour collision Sunday at Bronson Avenue and Slater Street.

The pedestrians bore the brunt of the collision, which also involved two minivans and a taxicab.

A 20-year-old woman broke her leg and was unconscious and a man, 21, was also unconscious with a head injury when paramedics arrived and transported them to hospital.
