About the artwork behind In Her Words

Created by Ottawa artist and muralist, Emilie Darlington, the vibrant flowers for In Her Words symbolize strength, resilience and adaptability. The flowers are represented in various stages of growth, from a small sprout, to a cracking bud, to full blooms. All of which represent the different stages and diverse journeys women take to achieve their goals.
