4th suspect named in Ghiasi killing

Ottawa police have issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for a fourth suspect in connection to the shooting death of 16-year-old Yazdan Ghiasi.

Ottawa police have issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for a fourth suspect in connection to the shooting death of 16-year-old Yazdan Ghiasi.

Mohamed Wehbe, 18, of Ottawa is wanted on a charge of second-degree murder. Police said investigators believe Wehbe might have fled the country.

Police described Wehbe as of Middle Eastern descent, about six feet tall, weighing 126 pounds with dark hair.

Ghiasi was killed on Dec. 6, when witnesses say they heard a gunshot and then saw a body be tossed from a car onto Booth Street, near Ottawa's Chinatown area.

An autopsy confirmed the boy died from a gunshot wound.

Three men have already been arrested in connection to the boy's death. Abdulhamid Wehbe, 20, has been charged with second-degree murder. Khaled Wehbe, 19, and Zakaria Dourhnou, 18, have both beencharged with being an accessory after the fact.

All three men remain in custody.

Ghiasi was Ottawa's 10th homicide victim of the year.

His death was not gang-related, police said. One policesourcetold CBC Newsthe teen was shot after a dispute over a small amount of marijuana.
