Halifax police search for suspects after hit and run

Halifax Regional Police are turning to the public for help in finding two men who are suspected to have been involved in an early Saturday morning hit and run that resulted in several parked cars on Barrington Street getting damaged.

Halifax Regional Police are turning to the public for help in finding two men who are suspected to have been involved in an early Saturday morning hit and run that resulted in several parked cars on Barrington Street getting damaged.

Around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, police were called to a report of a crash that involved a car that struck several parked vehicles in the 3399 block of Barrington Street.

Police later found an abandoned car that is thought to have been used by those responsible for the hit and run.

At around 5:13 a.m., police got a tip that two men were walking on the MacKayBridge.

Police believe the men are involved in the hit and run. The bridge was closed for more than an hour, but has since reopened.
