Quinpool Centre employee finds 'large sum' of money

Did you lose a lot of money near the Quinpool Centre in Halifax?

Halifax Regional Police have it and want to get it back to you.

An employee at the centre found "a large sum of money" in the parking lot around noon on Dec. 19and turned it over to police, Const. Pierre Bourdages said Monday.

The money was found inside another item in the parking lot, but had no information identifying the owner.

"In order to claim the money, the person must be able to specify what the money was in, the amount of money and in what denominations, and where the item was lost," Bourdages said.
