Gas prices in N.S. fall by 10 cents per litre in 2nd drop in as many days

Gas prices dropped by 10 cents per litre on Saturday in Nova Scotia, marking a second drop over consecutive days. The price of diesel has also fallen twice in the past two days.

The price of gasoline and diesel oil in Nova Scotia dropped Saturday after taking asignificant tumble the day before.

Gasoline and diesel prices fellby nine cents and six cents per litre, respectively, as part of a weekly price adjustment on Friday.

At 12:01 a.m. Saturday, those prices fell another 10and seven cents per litre, respectively, because of "significant shifts in the market prices of gasoline and diesel oil," according to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board.

The minimum price of diesel in Nova Scotia on Saturday was $1.71per litre, while gasoline was selling for$1.63per litre.
