Wet, windy weather heading for Nova Scotia

A low weather system from the U.S. is brining rain and strong winds to the Maritimes by Sunday.

Environment Canada says another system is likely bringing rain, heavy snow and strong winds mid-week

A mild a humid air mass from the south will bring significant rain and strong winds to the region by Sunday night.

Some wet weather is headed to the Halifax area, according to Environment Canada.

A low weather system from the southern United States is expected to movethrough the Great Lakes and Quebec brining a mild and humid air mass into the Maritimes by Sunday.

According to the special report issued for Halifax Metro and Halifax County West, the weather system is expected to bring significant rainfall and strong winds by Sunday nightchanging to flurries in Nova Scotia by Monday evening.

Temperatures in New Brunswick are expected to fall below zero Monday afternoon, making conditions icy. The same is expected for Nova Scotia and P.E.I. by the evening.

Environment Canada says another system is expected to hit Atlantic Canada around the middle of the week, bringing rain, heavy snow and strong winds.
