"I'm here as a Dal graduate and I'm here in solidarity of everybody that's affected by this. And I'm really affected too, because I held an allegiance to this school, but it's quickly fading after this. I'll be hesitant to say the name of my university [because of]the lack of a strong reaction after such a strong reaction of the community and the city as a whole and the country, to not have a strong firm statement and to be so passive about it."

"I'm really heartened by the response this time from people who have had enough. I was waiting for some real communication from the university and I really distrusted the kind of spin and the immediate deflection of putting responsibility on the women to come up with the consequences that these guys should have. I work in theatre and TV;I do a lot of comedy, and I just want to say to the boys:man, you're so not funny."

"I came to show my solidarity. I think it's unfortunate that it happened at Dalhousie. Ihave two daughters and I'm worried about which future they are being brought. I need to work towards that goal, personally. I'm concerned about in which world my daughters will be growing up. At this instant, I want ... those victims of the incident to get proper justice."
