How much did it cost to send a CBC reporter to a conference on municipalities?

A recent investigation by CBC Nova Scotia found that more than 100 municipal delegates from the province went to two annual meetings of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, at a total cost of more than $600,000.

When CBC News sent reporter Pam Berman to Winnipeg to cover the annual conference of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, we committed to posting her expenses.

Berman travelled to Winnipeg on June 2 and returned to Halifax on June 5:
