Frank John Lampe, 58, identified as homicide victim

Halifax Regional Police say 58-year-old Frank John Lampe was found dead in a hallway of an apartment building on Harlington Crescent Thursday night.

Halifax Regional Police have identified 58-year-old Frank John Lampeas the victim of a homicide in Clayton Park on Thursday night.

His body was discovered in the hallway of an apartment building at 10 Harlington Cres.

Police say they continue to investigate Lampe's death and no charges have been laid.

A second man was found on a nearby street with life-threateninginjuries and taken into custodysoon after Lampe'sbody was discovered.

The20-year-old suspect was taken to the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre for treatment of his injuries.

Hewas released from police custody Friday night without charges, police say. Theyhad no update on his condition but say he remains in hospital.

Police investigators are asking anyone with information or who may have seen a 20-year-man fleeing the Harlington Crescent building to contact them or to submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
