District 4 Coun.Claire Detheridgehas been treated for some weeksin hospital in Halifax for a "brain bleed."

She has represented her area on municipal councils for more than 30 years and is president of the Union of Nova Scotia Municipalities.

District 2 Coun.Charlie Keagan has suffered a heart attack.

Ina statement, Mayor Cecil Clarke says constituents of the twocouncillors shouldcontact the CBRM council office with any matters of concern.
