Bible Hill women victims of double homicide, RCMP say

RCMP confirm the deaths of two women found Friday afternoon in Bible Hill, N.S., is a double homicide.

RCMP confirm the deaths of two women found Friday afternoon in Bible Hill, N.S., is a double homicide.

Police are not releasing the cause of death at the moment, and say autopsies will be done Sunday.

A 47-year-old man was arrested at the scene on Friday. He has serious injuries and is in hospital under police observation, but is expected to recover.

Cpl. Scott MacRae said the victims and the man were known to each other. The man has not yetbeen charged.

Police went to a home along the 400 block of Pictou Road around 3 p.m., following a 911 call where there was silence on the line.

Officers found one woman dead, and arrested the man. As police looked around the property they found a second body.

Forensic identification officers remainon scene Saturday.
