Yellowknife's Northern United Place, home of the city'sAurora College campus and residence, has plans for a new parking lot.

The buildinglost access to 50 parking spots last month when the city closed off the lot for the construction of theBetty House, a transitional housing facility for homeless women.Since then, students and residents of the college building have had to find other places to park.
