Yellowknife RCMP arrest 5 in 'significant' crack cocaine seizure

Yellowknife RCMPsay theymade a "significant" crack cocaine seizure at an apartment on Gitzel Street Monday afternoon.

At about 3:30 p.m. yesterday, police executed a search warrant at a unit in the Fort Gary Apartments.

Officers seized approximately 573 grams of crack cocaine, 201 grams of powder cocaine and 29 grams of marijuana.

Five people have been arrested, three of whom are from outside the N.W.T., according to a news release.

RCMP say charges are pending.
