Inuvik man pleads not guilty to drug, liquor charges

An Inuvik, N.W.T.,man accused of drug trafficking and selling alcohol illegally has pleaded notguilty.

Talal Khatib entered the pleas in court in InuvikWednesday.

RCMP arrested the 64-year-old in May, after searching his house. They say they found drugs, a large amount of alcoholand almost $3,000in cash.

Khatib is facing two drug trafficking charges and two charges of bootlegging.

No date has been set for his trial.
