Representatives from the Government of the Northwest Territories are back in China promoting diamonds, tourism and N.W.T. furs.

It's the second time members of the assembly have made the tripto showcase the territory.China's growing demand for luxury productshas the territorial government heading back.

China has its hand in 80 per cent of the global fur trade.

Since the2012 trade mission, Premier Bob McLeod says the interest from the countryhas grown, andnow buys about 70 per cent of N.W.T.'s furs.

"We expect to double our GDP by 2020 and a large part of that I expect will be with Chinese investment," McLeod said.

The trip is estimated to cost more than $240,000.McLeod says it's money well spent to reach that goal.
