Eight thefts from vehicles over Labour Day weekend

Whitehorse RCMP received eightcomplaints ofthefts from vehicles over the Labour Day long weekend, including five on Saturday alone.

There was one report of a theft from a vehicle inRiverdale on Friday. Five more were reported Saturday:two on Mallard Wayin Ingram subdivision, one in Arkell subdivision, one in Hillcrest and one inLobird.

Two more thefts were reported Sunday in Hillcrest.

Police are asking anyone withinformation tocontact the Whitehorse RCMP.

RCMP are also reminding residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables from view.
