In a news release, the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services says all cases are being treated. The board says it's expected more cases will be found.

The board says that so far, there are still fewer cases than last year.

The news release points out that gathering houses, where people are gambling or smoking drugs, present a serious risk of infection.

It also says the current outbreak does not justify cancelling social or sporting events in the communities, which are important for the overall well-being of the population.
