ATV crash puts boy in hospital

A boy ended up in hospital Tuesday evening after an all-terrain vehicle accident in Conception Bay South, police said.

Two ATVs were involved in the crash. A 13-year-old boy was driving one and a 14-year-old boy was riding the other.

The RNC did not disclose which boy was sent to hospital, but said his injuries did not pose a threat to his life.

Police are investigating the crash, which happened in the Seal Cove area.

Last week, the Town of Conception Bay South announced it was hiring more enforcement officers to crack down on the reckless use of ATVs.
