Storm hampers search for missing N.L. man

The search for a man missing from his home in St. Anthony is being hampered by foul weather, officials in northern Newfoundland say.

High winds and blowing snow have played havoc with search efforts, RCMP Const. Graham Dawe said.Police, fire officials and local volunteers on snowmobiles and snowshoes have all been involved in the search.

Dawe said a helicopter will be brought in once the weather clears. The storm was expected to abate late Sunday afternoon.
