RCMP search for suspect in Gander nightclub assaults

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in central Newfoundland are looking for a man wanted on assault charges.

In a release sent out early Saturday, the RCMP said Patrick Wallace Bemister has been charged with multiple counts of assault stemming from incidents at two Gander nightclubs on Sept. 29.

Police saidthe public should not approach Bemister.

The RCMP have not released any further details, including where Bemister maybe.
