Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash in Paradise

A motorcycle driver was seriously injured inan accident in Paradise Tuesday night.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary were called to McNamara Drive around 10 p.m.

The male driver was alert and conscious when emergency crews arrived, but police said he was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

McNamara Drive was temporarily closed to traffic while crews were on scene, but later reopened.

The incident is still under investigation, and the full extent of the driver's injuries has not been released.
