Three weeks after what the RCMP have called an extremely violent murder, two Moncton suspects remain on the loose.

Codiac RCMP issued a Canada-wide warrant on Dec. 28 for Marissa Shephard and Tyler Noel, charged with first-degree murder in the death of 18-year old Baylee Wylie of Moncton.

His body was discovered after an early-morning house fire in Moncton on Dec. 17.

"The RCMP have received dozens of tips coming from various sources and locations and investigators are looking into every one of them," said Cst. Isabelle Beaulieu of Codiac RCMP.

The pair was initially charged with first-degree murder and arson on Dec. 24, and a local warrant was issued.

After Christmas, Codiac RCMP said it was possible the pair had fled the area, so the warrant was expanded to Canada-wide.

It's also not known if they are still together.

Police have warned that they are considered dangerous because of the violent nature of the crime, and that anyone helping them hide could face serious charges as well.
