Saint John water main break 'significant' says city

Saint John residents living in the area of Hickey Road and Heather Way are being asked to store as much water as possible after a water main break.

Saint John residents living in the area ofHickey Road and Heather Way should have their water back lateSaturday evening.

Earlier in the day, the city had asked residents in that area to store as much water as possible after a water main break.

Saint John Water said in a release the break at the intersection of the two streetsis significant. It is affecting residences and businesses in the area including the threeRegency Tower buildings.

It is not known what caused the break but the city says it is being repaired.
