Mark Ronson's Uptown Funk gets a distinctly Oromocto High School flavour in a new YouTube parody video

The teachers at Oromocto High School injected a bit of funk into their school spirit and produced a parody video of Mark Ronson's hit song Uptown Funk.

The "O'Town Funk"video debuted on YouTube on Thursday and shows teachers from the high school singing to the tune of Ronson's Uptown Funk about the upcoming graduation.

With geographic shoutouts to Rusagonis and "The Junction," the teachers dance around classrooms, school hallways and even in a local beauty salon.

At the end of the five-minute video about 20 teachers get into the spirit, wearing caps and gowns, and signing "O'Town funk you up."

This isn't the first time Oromocto High School teachers have turned to pop culture to celebrate the end of the year.

Last year, the teachers made a similar video parodying Macklemore's hit song, Thrift Shop.

Oromocto High School teachers dropped another parody video on YouTube. This year, the teachers remade Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk" with "O'Town Funk." (YouTube)
