New Brunswick rattled by 3.6 magnitude earthquake

The earth moved for many in New Brunswick as the province was hit with a small earthquake Thursday evening.

The Department of Natural Resources Canadareported a 3.6magnitude quake at 7:47 p.m. about 20kilometres north-east of Fredericton.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

Many people took to social media to describe what they felt.

Pam Ptinis wrote on Facebook that she felt it in Saint John.

Charity Price also wrote on Facebook that she felt it on McLeod Hill and thought it was "really long thunder or from blasting."
