A 55-year-old Moncton man died Sunday after a pickup truck collided with the motorcycle he was driving.

The crash happened shortly after 4 p.m. Codiac RCMP said they believe the truck was making a left turn onto Shediac Road in Moncton when the collision occurred.

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured. The investigation into the collision is continuing.

RCMP said this is the fourth fatal motorcycle crash in RCMP jurisdiction in New Brunswick so far in 2016.

"Police are reminding everyone on the road to ensure they are aware of other vehicles around them at all times, and that it is important to share the road equally," said Staff Sgt. Eric Larose in a RCMP release.
