Fredericton collision in roundabout sends 3 to hospital

Three people were sent to hospital with serious injuries Sunday evening after an SUV and motorcycle collided in Fredericton.

Roundabout at Cliffe and Two Nations Crossing closed for 4.5 hours after SUV and motorcycle collide

Three people were sent to hospital with serious injuries Sunday evening after an SUV and motorcycle collided in Fredericton.

Fredericton police were called to the accident at Cliffe Street and Two Nations Crossing at 6:36 p.m.

The driver and passenger on the motorcycle and the male driver of the SUV were taken to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital with serious injuries.

Charges are being considered against the driver of the SUV, said a police statement.

The area around the roundabout wherethe streets meet was closed for 4.5 hours while police investigators and the accident reconstruction team were on the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
