The second-degree murder trial of Dennis Olandcontinues Friday morning in Saint John with Const.Stephen Davidson on the stand.

The court heardThursday, before ending early,thatSaint John police believe Richard Oland was killed with a drywall hammeror "hammer-type" instrument.

No weapon has ever been found.

RichardOland's body wasfound the morning of July 7, 2011 lying face down in a large pool of blood in his investment firm office at 52Canterbury St.

The jury heard Wednesday that DennisOlandbecame a suspect the same day his father's body was found.
