The second-degree murder trial of Dennis Olandiscontinuing onThursday morning after a one-day break in testimony.

Oland, 46, is accused of killing his father, prominent businessman Richard Oland, in July 2011.

The jury at DennisOland'ssecond-degree murder trial in Saint John may hear from as many as 62 witnesses.

Witness No.17 is scheduled to take the stand on Thursdaymorning. The Crown has not identified who the witness is or what the testimony will focus on

Earlier this week, the jury heard from two RCMP computer forensic experts.

Payman Hakimian, who is based in Fredericton, and Neil Walker, who is based in Halifax, both analyzedcomputers seized from Richard.

Texts extracted from Richard's computerrevealed details about an extramarital affair Olandwas having.

Richardsuffered40 sharp and blunt force injuriesto his head an neck and six defensive wounds to his hands, lead Crown prosecutor P.J. Veniot has said.
